RESA ELA Professional Learning K-5
1. Domain Days - Professional Learning provided by RESA Specialists
Purpose: Teachers will gain an in-depth understanding of the new ELA standards
Intended Audience: Teachers and Coaches
Location: Elementary K-5 Domains(Foothills)
September 18, 19, or 20 - Foundations/Practices
November 4, 5, or 6 Language/Practices
December 2, 3, or 4 Text/Practices
Each month, there is a focus on one domain that is replicated. Pick one of the three days each month to attend.

2. GaDOE Professional Learning sponsored by NEGA RESA
Purpose: GaDOE will be providing professional learning on the New ELA Standards to be implemented in 2025-2026.
Intended Audience: Teachers and Instructional Coaches

3. Let’s Read, Georgia
Purpose: Training provided by NEGA RESA K-5 Regional Literacy Coaches for District Literacy Coaches, School Coaches and School-based Literacy Leads on the Let’s Read, Georgia Initiative utilizing a “Train the Trainer” model that will build District capacity.
Intended Audience: K-3 Literacy Coaches/Literacy Leads, K-5 Literacy Directors/Coaches
